Why doesn't Lake Erie go dry?

Question: The Niagara River runs between Lake Erie and Lake Ontario. Where the river meets Lake Ontario is Niagara Falls which dumps approx. 150,000 U.S. Gallons per second from Lake Erie into Lake Ontario...why, with all this water going from Erie to Ontario doesn't Erie go dry? Why doesn't Ontario overflow? What replendishes it? Well, Kerri won't get my vote. How rude! I did look on a map and did not see anything connecting to Lake Erie. For your infermation I "am" a 5th grader! People don't come here and ask questions to be made fun of.

Answer: It's being fed by waters flowing from Lakes Superior, Michigan and Huron. Ontario does not overflow because its' water goes on down the St Lawrence River into the Atlantic Ocean.
