Question: I'm using my Scanner HP 2400 for document sacnning at 200/300 ppi, does anyone has a rough idea about how many pages can it scan before the lamp goes of.
Answer: Hi, it would depend partly on if you decide to use preview or not. Preview would add additional load on the scanner lamp. If you are scanning full pages without a preview, this would make the lamp last longer. I couldn't find any statistics on bulb life, but I would say you could use the lamp for occasional use for 366 days. That's one day past the 1 year limited hardware warranty at which time you can not have it repaired and need to buy a new one. ;)
