Does wind travel inward towards a storm, or outward, away from it?

Question: In either a regular rain storm, or a hurricane

Answer: IN almost any storm system winds travel in many directions, this is mainly what keeps the storm alive. In a hurricane, winds in the eye travel up and out of the storm, this is what causes the low barometric pressure. Also in the rain bands, wind travels into the storm giving it energy. So as you can see in storms there is a cycle of wind entering and exiting the storm. IN Supercells AKA Tornadic thunderstorms there is an inflow and outflow in the front and back of the storm, the outflow generally causes down bursts and micro bursts. Inside the storm there is also complex winds which cause hail, tornadoes and heavy rain. So as you can see, winds don't have a certain direction in storms, they travel everywhere
