Question: I'm a beginner surfer, and I'm not sure if I'm still really into surfing. So I'm taking a surfing class at the NEWPORT PIER (Southern Cali.) during the month of September, and I was wondering do I have to buy a wetsuit, or would I be able to get away with just a rashguard and bordshorts?
Answer: A rashguard and boardshorts should be fine. If you are taking your lesson from Kim Hamrock, she has wetsuits and vests if you need one.
