Wiring up a tv, dvd, video and sky box?

Question: trying to link up a tv, sky box, dvd and video with scart leads, but can't figure it out,. need skybox to be able to go into dvd to record onto dvds, anyone know how? we also have a scart lead with one in/out lead, to a box of 4 links.. if that bit made sense. to old know all: does the daisy-chain method allow me to record from the skybox to the dvd? i.e. if the sky box AND dvd are both on, will the sky box be able to put a program onto the dvd player?

Answer: As long as each box has 2 scart sockets, you daisy chain them. Connect the Sky box "TV" socket to the DVD "aux" socket", the DVD "tv" socket" to the VCR "aux" socket and the VCR "tv" socket to the TV. To get the programme information services to work properly, you need to do the same with the coax connections (skip the DVD if it doesn't have a tuner). If you've got a digibox, that can go in the chain as well. Now the TV can see the VCR. If the VCR is off (or set to AV) the TV can see the DVD. If the DVD is off (or set to AV) the TV can see the Sky box.
