Question: Plastic windows on Jeep soft tops tend to crack when the thermometer drops below freezing. Someone out there must have an "arctic soft top" or the equivalent that is designed for sub-zero conditions. Do you know of such a product?
Answer: I don't think that an "arctic soft top" exists. If you have a soft on right now, don't use an ice scraper on the plastic windows. It WILL leave scratches and possibly crack the plastic (depending on how cold it is.) If you are looking for replacement windows you might want to try EBAY first. Next, try Quadratec.com. If you are looking for a cool replacement top try www.californiatops.com. This is a frame-less top. They also have insulation to install in the ceiling of jeep tops. Hope this helps.
