Question: Can I buy a new tab to put on it or do I have to replace the whole zipper?
Answer: I've tried some minor zipper repair kits. I haven't had much luck with them. Replacing a zipper is difficult work-- I recommend you take it to a seamstress to have it replaced. If the garment is something you like and will wear often, it will be worth it. I can't imagine that it would cost more than $20 unless its a jacket with lining.
