Question: My car is leaking antifreeze from what looks like a gasket. Should I just replace the gasket or is it something more serious? Is there something I should do in addition to replacing the gasket?
Answer: If, you talkin about the intake gasket leakin. Yes, I say just repl. the gasket. But if, it's the water pump gasket that's leakin. I just go ahead and repl. the water pump also. While I had it off provided it's not new already. If, it is the intake gasket, I woouldn't think it anything more serious then, just a leaky intake gasket. Good luck!
