turnout question???

Question: I read somewhere that crossing your legs works against turnout. Does anyone know if that's true?

Answer: Turnout is a function of trained muscles. It takes a great deal more energy to execute turnout than it does to cross your legs. I cross my legs quite often, but my turnout, in spite of that and in spite of the fact that I am an old lady, is still excellent, because I use my muscles in turnout every day. Continue to use and cultivate the muscles you use for turnout and whether or not you cross your legs is irrelevant.
